Give the Gift of Hope

Every year, Southern Valley Alliance serves hundreds of victim-survivors of domestic violence in Scott and Carver counties with support and advocacy services. We couldn’t do so without the incredible assistance from our community.

Help us spread joy this holiday season by donating to our upcoming client program, Gifts of Hope. Each December, those we have served are invited to participate in this program in which they pick out a variety of items to make their holidays a little brighter. Items include toys, personal care products, household cleaners, hats and mittens and gift cards for necessities. All items for our clients are donated by the community, so the amount we are able to give depends on the amount which is donated.

With the increasing gas and food prices, individuals that we serve are in need of extra support navigating to safety. Gift cards to grocery stores, Target, Walmart, Amazon, and gas gift cards are needed now more than ever. We are requesting larger increments for gift cards to meet the demand, $50 or more, but every dollar helps.
